museum of life and science, 2023

my team: designed and built an early childhood space to entertain young visitors—and educate their grown-ups on the importance of child’s play.

my role: stepped up after staffing changes to support the project through final design and installation. wrote the exhibit script, designed graphics, sourced props and furnishings. worked with teams across the museum to lead staff training, opening, and exhibit evaluation.


i used lumoplay to build an interactive projection where children can bounce and pop scribble shapes pulled from the wall graphics.


the existing graphic style of the room needed to be iterated into dozens of instructional, organizational, and interpretive graphics with unique relationships to the exhibit space.
